Solid Stay, But Be Aware of Room Differences and the Area
We stayed here twice during our trip: once at the beginning and again at the end. Overall, the hotel was clean, the rooms were quiet, and it delivered exactly what you’d expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. The staff were professional, and the amenities met all our needs.
That said, the rooms are a bit inconsistent. Both times we booked the same room type, but the two stays were quite different. The first room (on a higher floor) was spacious and matched the photos online, while the second room (on the 2nd floor) was noticeably smaller with a different layout. The online photos seem to show only the larger rooms, so keep that in mind when booking.
If you’re new to Frankfurt or the area, the neighborhood might come as a surprise. There’s a visible homeless population nearby, and while we personally didn’t have any issues, it might make some travelers feel uneasy. When walking between the hotel and the train station, I recommend sticking to Kaiserstraße and avoiding Taunusstraße.
Overall, this is a decent, well-run hotel with all the amenities you’d expect from Hilton Garden Inn. Just be mindful of the surrounding area and possible room size variations when booking.
