Value for .money. Basic hotel with a reasonable standard fir a good nights sleep. Only issue was the bad smell from the bathroom but this was sorted by keeping the windows ooen.

It is a hotel with character, which was a fresh change from the cookie-cutter hotel rooms you get with the major chains. I was also particularly happy that the room came with a standing fan. I like to have a fan running when I sleep, and this one was perfect. Note that the onsite parking lot fills up, but you can get additional parking at a stone lot where trucks and stuff are kept across the street. As I chose the place for its free parking, I asked about that when I checked in, and was directed to use that lot if the other was full (which is was)

An older hotel with simple decoration but extremely clean, with professional and competent staff and a very spacious room. Great cost-benefit relationship. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was okay but the bathroom door knobs were difficult to use, requiring strong hands! The parking area is very cluttered and run down with dirt instead of hard surface and a long walk around to the main entry as the side door was not open! The breakfast was standard, nothing special, with mediocre orange juice and not very good coffee. But VERY expensive at 19€ per person, where every where else is 8 or 9! We went out to a coffee shop for a delicious 5€ breakfast for our second day! It is unlikely that I stay there again!

First 2 rooms I’ve given have not been cleaned yet, the first of which was in the basement with a window facing a wall only 0.5m away. The room I stayed in had quite dated furniture but in good shape, beside the window curtains which I couldn’t open fully. Breakfast food was less than acceptable and both days fruit juice was finished (at the beginning of breakfast) and both times I had to ask to refill it.

Zimmer im UG, kein Ausblick, nur Lichtschacht. So schlechten Service beim Check-In hatte ich noch nie, Dame hat mich angemotzt, weil ich nach >10 Min. Wartezeit an der nicht besetzten Rezeption telefonisch versuchte jemanden zu erreichen. Dann wurde es sich noch über meinen Namen lustig gemacht. Und zu Krönung erfolgte am Samstag Morgen um 9 Uhr ein unaufgefordertes Wecken durch langanhaltende Hammerschläge (vermutlich Bad Abriss) in anderem Zimmer.
