Hotels near Fowlers Hollow State Park

"This was the most dismal, bleak hotel I have ever stayed in. VERY basic, aged, worn but the worst part was the front desk staff. The man was okay, somewhat friendly but there was a woman who was present almost all the time. I stayed (unfortunately) 4 nights. She was extremely unfriendly, seemed to have extreme difficulty communicating, didn't make any eye contact and could barely respond in the most basic ways. Appreciate that she has somes sort of issues but perhaps she should have more of a back office job rather than the face of the property. Choice hotels should make a visit."

"I didn’t get to stay there this time because I had to get a refund for my stay unfortunately because the hotel was overbooked and it was Hotels.com’s mess up with that. After clarifying the details with both the Hotel and Hotels.com, I am still waiting on my refund which would take 5 to 7 business days. I have not received my refund yet and it has been five days. I do plan on taking action with Hotels.com. Only if I do not receive the refund by the end of the week, which will be the seven full days. Next time I stay at this property, I will be booking directly with that hotel chain. It really makes me scared to use Hotels.com after this mess that Hotels.com has caused. Like I said it was not the Hotel’s fault it was solely Hotels.com’s fault. But the hotel property in which the booking was supposed to be out as wonderful. I’ve stayed there before and I loved it and I hope to stay there again really soon. I also feel really safe with this hotel too which is very important, especially as a female traveler"

"Breakfast was good but the staff was a little overwhelmed by the number of guests. The microwave in my room didn't work, but l just used the one in the breakfast area. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again."
