"We had a lovely two night stay at Hotel Romano. Its location was spectacular, literally steps from the Colosseum and the Forum. The hotel itself is quite small and historic but did not lack in anything. There was a mini bar that my diabetic husband was able to store his supplies in and the air conditioning was more than sufficient. The staff was lovely, accommodating, and had a wealth of knowledge on the area, transportation, and dining options. They will hold your luggage pre-and post trip so...

"The staff was amazing, and they offer booking for the top sites like Colosseum and Vatican Museums. Great free breakfast, the rooms were clean and spacious, especially for Italy. Would highly recommend if in Rome and won’t to be central location walking distance to all sites. "

"Location was very good. I would highly recommend. Hotel was renovating but it did not hinder our stay. The bed was not that comfortable and did not have a bed spread but we were okay with that for the 2 nights we were there. Read the fine print on breakfast. They charge 10 euros a person. "
