My four stars more towards the air-conditioning (we are at ground floor so having the window wide opened without any latch is not really an option, we tried variety settings but at the end decided to go with only fans mode), as well as the shower head for our room. "This is a great location in Siena, close to all the sights. Just a note that there is no elevator, but the front desk man kindly carried my luggage up to the 2nd floor which was great. My only challenge was that the room was very warm (25.3C), and there was no working fan to move air around. "I loved the concept of this big Italian mansion turned into a hotel. It is surrounded by several mansions in a very quiet neighborhood. It is 5 minutes walking from Siena center. There are few amenities, but the price/location/condition it is a great place for a short stay. "
