"Room was very spacious and clean. We were on the 2nd floor which wasn’t awful even with a baby and 2 year old. Everything was very walkable. We never moved our car after getting there. We absolutely loved staying here and would definitely come back when visiting Mackinac Island again!!!"

"Our room was near a different door than the main door. There were three steps to get in the building and there was not a railing. Very unsafe."

"Great service by some hardworking folks. They were friendly and courteous. We loved the fire pits on the beach at night and the S’mores. A thoughtful touch. Small rooms and older hotel but clean and tidy. Good breakfast too. "

"Beautiful view of the Mackinac Bridge. Across the street from park on Lake Superior. Small, but very nice and clean room. Family-owned business staffed by very friendly and polite family members. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Amazing. Staff was amazing. Visitors could clean up after themselves. Most of these complaints in the reviews are probably from the same people that left chairs in the water and trash on the beach. "

"I gave the staff a 1 only because I was waiting for the elevator. When it arrived, a staff member was in it with a large bin of dirty laundry. She was on her phone. She saw I was waiting and she continued texting on her phone for at least 30 seconds not getting out of the elevator and blocking it from anyone getting in. Another staff member that was in the hall with me said something to her and she just made a nasty comment. I found that very rude. I wasn’t in a hurry but I also don’t appreciate...

"The hotel was very good. It leans more toward excellent than good with its Lake Huron views, amenities, and helpful staff. The water park was cool but some elements were closed or removed, big slides and lily pads. So not as fun for the older kids, but We made the best of it. The arcade did not have a working quarter dispenser so we could not play the games. That being said, the staff was AMAZING, especially Elisa. Very kind and helpful. They made all the difference in our stay!"

"My husband and I stayed in a room at the lodge and were pleasantly surprised by the cozy cabin decor. The warmth and charm of the room gave our vacation a true getaway feeling. "
