We recently stayed at this hotel, choosing it based on our many great experiences with this brand at other locations across the US. Unfortunately, this particular stay did not meet the expectations we’ve come to expect from this chain.
Positives:
The room itself was decent—clean and functional—but not exceptional. It met basic expectations, though there wasn’t anything particularly outstanding about it.
The staff was friendly, which we appreciated, though they were unfortunately a bit slow during check-in.
Areas for Improvement:
Front Desk Service: The front desk was notably slow, causing delays during check-in, which can be frustrating after a long day of travel. Additionally, the garbage cans were overflowing, and the front area outside was crowded and chaotic.
Breakfast: The breakfast area had very limited seating, and we had to wait in long lines.
Neighborhood Safety: The surrounding area had several homeless individuals sleeping on the sidewalks, which made it feel unsafe, especially when we arrived late at night (around 11 pm). This was particularly concerning for our family.
While we have had many positive experiences with this hotel brand in the past, this particular location fell short. The slow service, lack of seating for breakfast, and the neighborhood’s condition were disappointing, and we hope these issues are addressed to better align with the standards we've enjoyed at other locations.
