Their valet mistakenly loaded my luggage into another customer’s vehicle which they were holding for me until my flight departed later in the day. When the customer was made privy to it, she called the front desk to notify them. She did so 5 hours before my flight. The front desk failed to notify the valet of their mistake, as the valet stated they could have driven to the person’s home and picked up the luggage before I left for the airport. I had documents and private financial information in the suitcase. Marriott was nonchalant about the whole thing and refused to compensate saying they are not liable.
