Very Disappointing Stay Experience -
Our stay here was very disappointing. The hotel is quite old and currently under renovation, which was not mentioned on their website. It would have been helpful for guests to know this information before booking.
I booked a double-bed room on the Executive Floor, expecting it to include a sofa and coffee table as shown in the website photos. I specifically chose this room type so we could have some space to relax and not just the bed. However, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find there was no sofa in the room. A few minutes later, a large piece of the ceiling even fell onto the bed. I immediately called to report the issue.
Rami, the gentleman at the Front Desk, was very kind during check-in and assisted us by arranging a room move to the 8th floor. However, when we went downstairs to collect the new room keys, the lady at the Front Desk was extremely rude. I politely asked if we could have a room with the same university and mountain view as our previous one, but she bluntly said we didn’t pay for it.
Considering we paid for an Executive Floor room, it was a Sunday with about 20% occupancy, and given the inconvenience we already experienced, the least they could have done was offer a better view as a courtesy. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve had.
