"I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was excellent. The service was top-notch and most of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces – they truly made us feel welcome and well taken care of. However, I must point out a disappointing experience with one staff member, Erwin. Unfortunately, his attitude stood out in contrast to the otherwise outstanding team. When I arrived with four large suitcases in my car, I asked if I could briefly park outside the hotel just to unload my luggage. Erwin firmly refused and told me I had to park in the basement of the building across the street, which has no lift. I had to drag all four bags up a slope and across to the hotel myself. What made it worse was that when I entered the lobby clearly struggling, he saw me but made no effort to assist. Additionally, during check-in, Erwin failed to mention that items in the minibar were complimentary, which I found out later. It felt as though he was intentionally withholding that information, which left a negative impression. Aside from this, the rest of the stay was truly enjoyable. The other staff members were amazing – friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. It’s a shame that one individual’s behavior affected an otherwise perfect stay. "

"This hotel is located in a lovely area with easy access to tram lines, making it very convenient to explore the city. The neighborhood felt safe and had a nice atmosphere, with cafés, shops, and other amenities nearby. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and was everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth and efficient. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and great value for the location. We’d definitely consider staying here again! "

"We had a fabulous short stay here. The hotel is very close to Wengen station and we managed to walk up the hill with our (small) cases without too much bother. Check in was with the lovely Miriem (sorry if I've got that wrong!) who showed us around and gave us plenty of information about the hotel. The room was good (deluxe double with balcony), beds were comfortable with plenty of space. Bathroom was basic but clean. There were lovely little welcome touches, such as a personalised card and biscuits. There's a kettle (hoorah!) and a coffee machine. But the absolute best part was the incredible view, which actually brought us to tears as we were so overwhelmed. We were lucky enough to be in a corner room with two balconies so had morning coffee on one overlooking beautiful chalets and the valley and evening drinks on the other for sundown. We made use of the outdoor swimming pool (6 francs) which is just a few minutes walk away and we had a quick walk through the town which looked very lovely and lively. We'd planned to go for drinks and some live music but were too tired from our excursions to Interlaken so just enjoyed drinks on the hotel terrace instead. We popped to Lauterbrunnen to see the waterfalls as this is only a 10 minute train ride down the mountain. We were also lucky enough to meet the hotel's resident dog, Caramel, who came to give us a friendly welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend this hotel. We will be back!!"
