"I chose this place because the hotels in Flam were quite expensive. At first, the exterior of the hotel made me hesitate a little, but after staying here, I was pleasantly surprised. The interior was beautifully upgraded and very clean, far better than the outside appearance. The staff were also kind and helpful. The breakfast was slightly below average, but the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. If I visit again, I would definitely stay here."

"The Heimly staff was friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Our room had gorgeous views of the fjords. Breakfast was excellent, and the three-course vegetarian dinner that the chef prepared for us was the best meal we had on our trip to the Scandinavian countries. "

"Nice room, comfortable but small bed! Room was not especially large but bathroom was a nice size with lovely heated floors! Breakfast was excellent. Beautiful, convenient location and a gorgeous historic hotel. Would definitely stay again if I return to Flåm."

We found Annie is not just a hotel receptionist, she is your local concierge and transportation guru wrapped with a friendly attitude! When you need to get anywhere, Annie show you the map and draw the key points, ensuring your time outside hotel is as smooth as possible. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Undeniably a gorgeous location! Communication was a problem but only at 1st. The Expedia message did not work. You have to use WhatsApp to contact them about the door code. Parking is scary if other cars are there. It's a tight squeeze to go anywhere in Undredal though. It's a one-way road, in and out. I will never forget that view though! It was definitely worth the sketchy drive!"
