"Lovely old hotel with lots of history which was beautiful to stay in. We had a loft room with a lovely bay window to look out across the town as the snow came down. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The only area that could do with some love was the bathroom which felt a bit tired. Breakfast had lots of variety, including some traditional Norweigian options. "Really recommend stopping here for a night when doing the journey through the fjords. It was lovely to stop in a small village and visit the Viking Village as well. The room we had was amazing, it was Viking themed and had a window to look at the stars (weather dependant!). The bed was extremely comfortable as well. "Staying at the Grand Hotel was a privilege, it is a wonderful hotel with warm, kind and friendly staff. The rooms are well appointed with a smart TV, very comfortable beds and a Nespresso machine!
