"This was an oasis every day as we came back from our excursions. It is absolutely central and walkable within a 1 minute walk to restaurants, shops, and 3 min from the port, yet on a side street so peaceful. Capitan Max was accesible all the time providing info, making our breakfast, handing us towels and a backpack to the beach. "The best place to stay! The staff were always helpful and they helped me keep my reservation when flight was not able to happen at last minute. They kept rooms cleaned phenomenally everyday. I did not want to leave. The location to downtown and harbor was excellent yet far enough from the noise! Never miss a chance to stay there!"

"We loved everything about Lava House. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The owners were incredibly welcoming and great hosts. The breakfasts were also wonderful. Location was excellent for doing all the activities the island has to offer and the hotel can help arrange and make recommendations. Would highly recommend to anyone! "

"Great hospitality at this quaint B&B right in the middle of Puerto Ayora downtown area. It was walkable and super convenient. The rooms were spacious and all had a little patio or exterior areas attached. We had about 7 rooms of all types total and everyone loved La Peregrina!"
