"So glad to have found this gem of a hotel in Halifax. It's beautiful and well located in the city centre. The room was very large and spacious with comfy beds and an Nespresso machine, with coffee pods supplied. There are some things to gripe about though. We've realized that this is a very large hotel and seems to be a venue for weddings and special events. What we experienced as a result was a very long and painfully slow check-in, as well as some short-lived but loud and obnoxious behaviour...

"The service and quality of the hotel was exceptional. We were welcomed by the owner at breakfast. She was friendly and made our visit extra special. The breakfast quality was superb. Great selection of eggs, meat, vegetables, pancakes and French toast. Selection of breads and pastries and good coffee. The pool and hot tub was also well maintained. I would stay again! "

"Loved the hotel and our king room (bed was very comfy!). There was lots of space, modern features, it was very clean and even had snacks/drinks to purchase in our room. Self check in was super easy and the staff respond quickly to messages. This area was great (less busy than downtown) and had tons of dining options (walkable too). The only downfall is that you can hear other guests in the building and the traffic/noise outside was also loud. It didn’t bother me too much so I would still...

"The room was very quiet. Liked the hydration station we prefer to refill our own water. Friendly and knowledgable staff. There are plentiful restaurants and all shopping in very short driving distance. Easy distance to Halifax and Downtown Dartmouth. We are a couple, but kids and families seemed happy. "
