The hotel was pet friendly. The rooms were a great size and comfortable.
Unfortunately, we couldn't do much as you have to book everything in advance. We were not aware that you had to plan ahead."
"The room (and possibly the entire hotel) looked to have been renovated recently? No air conditioning in the room and so it was a bit uncomfortable during the night. We only realised there was an electric fan at the back of the cupboard as we were leaving 🙄. The staff were nice and the parking was plentiful. Well located at the Ayr end of the high street and not too far from the beach. The breakfast was very tasty and they offered a good range. Overall we were very happy with our stay."
"Since it is a historic building there’s no control over temperature or any kind of air flow in the rooms without opening a window. Ceiling fans or some kind of thermostat would be helpful. But otherwise the property is spectacular and the staff very helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast as well!"
"First time here , but the rooms were fairly spacious , clean, and I always check mattress! Excellent , good lighting , lovely bathroom items provided , shampoo etc, my only wish would be that the shower wasn’t in the bath ! Due to bad knees , but water hot and good pressure , tea coffee fasciitis provided in room , we ate in the restaurant , food was great , well priced , and hot on arrival.
