"The property is lovely located in a rural landscape. It was refreshing to have space and quiet after being in Palermo for so many days. The rooms are spacious with nice private areas. The breakfasts were outstanding with plenty of fresh homemade choices. Directions to the property were not very clear and itโ€™s a good thing we reached out to the property ahead of time to get specific directions since the old road is closed. Sara at the property was very kind and helpful. The owner seemed bored and disinterested by us. Since there is no restaurant located on the property and nothing nearby open for dinner, we brought some of our own cheeses and crackers. We were chastised for enjoying a glass of wine by the pool and having a few snacks because the property wanted us to purchase their own available charcuterie and wine. That wouldโ€™ve been fine but we had no idea was even available. However, $40 for a bottle of wine is very expensive for Sicily! Overall, our stay was very lovely, but the instructions and expectations need to be more clearly expressed."
