"From our arrival til our departure, the service at Mount Juilet was impeccable. The Hotel itself is beautiful with spacious well decorated rooms, well thought out amenities and a lovely spa. We both enjoyed massages (some of the best we have had). Meals in The Hound were tasty and well priced. The Saddle bar has a lovely atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting Sean who offers historical talks on tbe estate on Thursday and Sunday evenings. "The Hoban is a favourite stay when in Kilkenny. Rooms are clean and beds are so comfortable. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food is great. The Hoban, is fairly central to everywhere. Less than 5 minutes to the city centre and its historic castle and medieval churches, never mind the shopping and dining experiences to be had. Just off the main road for Clonmel and also the M9 motorway. Perfect place to stay while not breaking the bank. Comfort, food and welcoming atmosphere. ...
