Do not be fooled by the high ratings; our experience was a nightmare. We booked a room with a Queen and a Twin bed, but the Riad failed to provide this. Instead, we were given one Queen bed and a stained, cold 'day bench' in a separate area. Because of this, three of us had to share a single bed for our entire stay.
The hygiene standards were appalling. My child was bitten by bedbugs on his face and hands, and there was a severe fly infestation throughout the property, I can’t image the cleanliness of their food preparation area. The building felt damp and smelled strongly of mold. Furthermore, reaching the Riad requires navigating 28-inch wide alleyways overflowing with garbage and animal waste. It was like walking through a minefield with our luggage. The staff was indifferent to our concerns and no basic amenities were provided. The high ratings must be fake because this place is a health hazard. Extremely disappointed in Expedia for listing this. This was the worst stay of our lives—avoid at all costs.
