"Everything about the stay was more than expected. We were so impressed with the staff (and we don’t speak Portuguese) upon arrival, that we immediately booked a second night! They treated our dogs great, brought a dog bed to the room for them, allowed them at the pool (there was another couple with a dog there too!). Small bar at the pool, a second building with more rooms and amenities opening soon, the groups are beautiful and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful breakfast….will...

"Bom quarto. Serviço imbatível em todo o Hotel. Uma equipa jovem fabulosa mesmo para um “turista exigente “ como sou! Restaurante maravilhoso q ainda vai dar q falar… parabéns ao chefe e à Rafaela q brilhantemente fez as honras da casa. No Hotel esperava um quarto mais espaçoso, com um sofá para ler um livro por exemplo ou trabalhar um pouco . Esperava piscina interior para quando a exterior não é opção … Aguardamos pelos jardins q ainda não tiveram tempo de crescer! Vou voltar concerteza "

"What an amazing hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly, our room was large, and very clean, but the real star of the show is the stunning castle itself. There are so many areas to explore. Sitting rooms, the chapel, a pool table room, and the outside pool area is from a fairytale. It’s like going back in time. We felt like royalty. 100% recommended."

"Beautiful and comfortable home. The listing was a little incomplete so it was unclear exactly what we were getting but pleasantly surprised. One very confusing experience is they never mentioned an actual couple lives on-site and are the hosts. They came by when we got there and were very kind and accommodating. It just would have been helpful to know they would be there. The listing said it was entirely self check-in. "
