"Set in the scenic hilltop town of Venasque, Provence, this hotel is a gem. It a picturesque, peaceful and cozy place to stay. The owners, Sophie and Jerome, are the most helpful and attentive a guest could wish for. Probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in on this three week trip through southern France. I look forward to staying for much longer than my brief stay."

"The dinner meal was good but the breakfast was outstanding ! There was well cooked bacon and it’s the first time I have this included in a breakfast in France. Wow ! Thanks to the Polish woman who was in charge of the breakfast. But there was a flaw. The noise from the other rooms was extremely loud and this doesn’t make sense in a hotel. I could hear the words the people were saying. That absolutely doesn’t make sense. There should be a solution for that MAJOR problem."

"This is a little slice of heaven. I had a last minute booking. The owner was kind to reach out to me to make sure my arrival would not be during a time that might conflict with a scheduled appointment. She gave great recommendations and provided a tasty breakfast. I wish I’d had more than one night because it was lovely."

"Très bon accueil, chambre et salle de bains très propres mais pour une rénovation toue récente (et un positionnement tarifaire plutôt élevé), ça manque cruellement de prises de courant! Deux groupées en tout et pour tout dans la chambre, dont une déjà occupée par une multiprise! Pas de climatisation, ce qui peut poser un problème en été à ce niveau de prix, et le ventilateur fourni doit être déplacé et positionné bien trop près du lit... du fait du manque de prises murales, justement! "Located only 100 meters from the Ochre Center, Hotel Les Ambres is charming and comfortable, with very friendly staff. The rooms was nice, and the dinner and breakfast were both terrific. Very relaxing visit!"

"Chambre très basique (ressemble à une chambre d'hôpital..), salle de bain avec horrible cabine de douche en plastique plutôt sale...chzmbre malgré tout bien équipé, chauffage, clim., sèche serviette.. Calme.. Dommage également que le petit déj ne soit servi qu'à partir de 7h30 et en aucun cas avant.. Rien pour compenser en plus! Rien de véritablement catastrophique mais ne vaut pas le tarif payé.
