"★☆☆☆☆ – A Distressing Experience I Would Never Wish on Another Traveller I booked this property through Expedia for one night and, before travelling, emailed the owners several times to explain that I would be arriving with my trained psychiatric assistance dog. "The property is a 200 year old property that has been renovated over the years. More akin to a B&B. Our room was very comfortable. the bed was a little creaky but we were exhausted and slept well. It worked well in a pinch. The proprietor, Edwina, was great."

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the location was quiet, and the feel was like a bread and breakfast without the breakfast. Considering the price, location, and quality of stay I highly recommend The Lodge. If you...

"Great little find"

Our room was spotless, and the entire estate was beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We felt very secure throughout our stay. The on-site parking, located behind secure electric gates, was particularly reassuring. Despite the area's narrow roads, access was straightforward, and the safety mirrors installed...
