"Our flight was delayed several hours and we landed at the airport a little before 2am (check in stops at 2), I called before boarding to let them know and they were super kind about it. I also called when we landed to make sure they knew we were still coming. The lady at the desk was so kind and even changed our room to an indoor room after noticing it was a mother and daughter traveling (no idea what the crime rate is around here, but it felt nice that she cared). The ONLY reason it doesn’t get 5 stars all the way around is because it is an older building and you can tell, despite the upgrades. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work and there was a mild mildew smell. But I am from Utah and we have no humidity. None of that was a deal breaker for me. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Overall, we had a good experience at Avid. It was a nice hotel for the price we paid. The showerhead was so nice and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint I would say is that door closets to our room, the key pad didn’t work. So we had to walk all the way to the main entrance to enter. The complementary breakfast buffet was okay. Good location for us also."
