Decent hotel for a one night stay. Unfortunately the couple in the room next to us were smoking in the hallway! The restaurant was great. We had 3 meals here and it was faultless. Staff were friendly & helpful. We would stay here again.

What I liked: Staff, Food (choices & flavor), Cleanliness
What I didn't like: Far from Ayodhya (40-90 minutes due to traffic), very limited parking places, Noise from outside, construction and other guests.
We booked 4 rooms all at same price, two were decent rooms on 1st floor, one and 2nd floor with luxury appointments like a massage chair, and our room was on ground floor with a lot of noise.
Would I use this hotel again: NO

Good New Hotel
Hotel is very good and served very good breakfast BUT our room on 2nd floor was just under thier kitchen on 3rd floor. The kitchen was makings some banging noise just before midnight so we had to insist that they stop that noise.
Not enough staff at the reception who was answering the phones and checking the guests too and worked as a bell boy too.

During our designated check-in time, the receptionist neglected to assist us. Despite arriving one hour prior to check-in, we patiently waited for our turn while the receptionist attended to numerous other guests, issuing keys. When I finally approached the counter and submitted all required documents, the receptionist scanned them but hesitated to hand over the keys, ignoring us once more. After a 15-minute wait, I requested the keys again, prompting them to finally hand them over. Despite being a small and relatively quiet hotel, the rest of the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Wasn’t happy with this hotel at all. Went for darshan at the Ram temple, hotel staff arranged it but seemed to have tried to cheat us. He said he would arrange a vehicle, give aarti darshan, VIP pass for 2000 INR and said to go late evening as that’s when it can be arranged. None of it transpired apart from the ricksaw and even he was a cheat. We asked reception to arrange a packed breakfast since we had to leave early to next morning but the lady at the front desk said we have to arrange this with the hotel restaurant. The next morning, there was another gentleman who was at the reception and we made the same request and he called the restaurant straight away to arrange for our packed breakfast. I wouldn’t arrange to book here again and definitely don’t arrange for any Ram darshan with the hotel staff. Furthermore, we had a window that was partly open that they couldn’t close so they stuck a towel in the gap! Despite informing them that there’s a dust allergy they said “there’s no dust” while we were coughing away.

We have so many complaints regarding our recent stay at this hotel. For one, the walls of these rooms might as well be made of paper. Every night, there was some new noise coming from adjacent rooms. The first night, a couple next door argued the entire night. To top it off, the staff did absolutely nothing about our constant complaints and requests to have them stop. Imagine paying hundreds of dollars a night to listen to loud screaming and cursing the entire night. In addition, there was a constant hammering sound coming from above our room every night. We were never made aware of any construction going on and despite our regular requests, the hammering persisted every night.
The front desk staff were also blatantly rude. They purposely allowed others to cut in front of us, and would ignore us standing right in front of them! As if we were never there. At check out, we waited at least 15 minutes for the staff member to print us our receipt. He merely kept his head down and acted like he didn’t see or hear us. Extremely unprofessional!
This was by far the worst service we’ve ever gotten at a hotel. The staff were extremely rude, completely dismissive of our complaints. Cygnett markets itself as a modern hotel to attract foreign guests but is far from that. We booked this hotel expecting we’d get our moneys worth but got the opposite. If you plan to book this hotel, please don’t. They are not worth the money or hassle.

Extremely dissappointed with our stay at Cygnett Collections. They charged us the same price as a 5 star hotel in Delhi but the services were very subpar.
We booked a superior room but were still provided with a basic room with absolutely no view, the only window was a 2 feet by 5 feet completely closed on the outside, no ventilation at all.
The AC stopped working on the second night and we were even asked if we are staying there for the night.
We tried to order in room dining but were asked to go for the buffet on the 3rd level and finally ended up dining elsewhere.
Our room was just beneath the kitchen and the noises would not stop until 3am, also to mention the 31st night gala party music “ALL NIGHT” in the holy city of Ayodhya.
Do note that this property considers kids above 5 as adults and are priced at full charge and we ended up paying the price of two rooms eventually.
I would recommend other hotels at the same price but better rating as this hotel stays at 3 star.
