"Pros Friendly staff. Well kept room. Nice breakfast. Easy walk to shopping and wine tasting. Cons. We stayed in the cottage adjacent to the main in. It was very close to the main road so was somewhat noisy. We were placed in this building as this is where the double queen rooms are located. This probably wouldn’t be a problem if you were staying in the main inn. Also parking a bit tight for for our full size SUV. "

"The property was a craftsman bungalow, which we had always wanted to stay in. Our room was comfortable and we had a nice outdoor seating area that was private. The room had a cozy fireplace and they offered a cheese and wine snack in the late afternoon. The breakfast was able and tasty. Loved all the architectural details."

"Hennessy House is in the perfect location for walking to downtown Napa. We loved parking in their lot and not having to drive to dinner. Our room was small and cozy and felt like we were visiting family. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests about wine tastings and restaurants. We would stay again."

"The stay was amazing, except for the mattress and pillows in Suite 1! I felt like the mattress was contemporary with the antique furnishings… the owner and her employees are great… but the mattress in that suite should reflect the luxury of everything else!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Setting Inn. Our accommodations were just perfect for our romantic getaway to celebrate a milestone anniversary. The staff there were very friendly, responsive and made us feel cared for. The towels were plush and the room was set up with the extra towels and pillows that I had requested ahead of time. What we will remember most of all is the complimentary morning breakfast tray of pastries from a famous local bakery, fresh fruit, OJ and daily flowers...
