"It is not possible to say how wonderful this hidden gem of a location is. Stephen and Kris were wonderful guests. So welcoming and kind. It was our second to last night of our 8 night trip. A different place every night. Hands down, without question, the most exquisite location we stayed at while driving through England. Their attention to detail, exceptional. "A good alternative to staying in Halifax for us while visiting family. Clean and comfy room with a modern feel and easy contact-free checkin/out. Has parking, but we were car free so used local taxis for the most part to/from Sowerby Bridge centre (£10 each way) and also walked a few times (be aware, quite a steep but enjoyable climb, takes around 25 mins). "We absolute loved our stay at Castle House. It is a beautiful house and the decor and facilities were high end. The house was spotless when we arrived and the towels, cleaning and kitchen products and toiletries were such a lovely added touch. The tvs are amazing and every channel you could possibly want.
