This resort has a great location, with a clear view of mountains in the Park and a short drive to the Beaver Meadows entrance an to downtown Estes Park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We have stayed there several times over the years and hope to stay there again in the future.

A little disappointed that pool wasn't open in the evenings. Also, a big reason I chose this place was because site said it was a 13 min walk to rocky mtn natl park but was actually almost 3 miles away. Other than that, it was a nice place and good value.

Was a fabulous trip! The place was clean and well kept. Even though it is an older place, you can tell they take care of it well. The hot tub was clean and worked great! Can see some of the river from the deck and is a short walk to both the river and the pool. The two bedroom layout was a great set up. Bedrooms were smaller but enough space to still be functional. Only thing I would recommend bringing is a power strip as the outlets are limited. Kitchen was well stocked and had all the comforts of home. I would highly recommend!

Stayed in a motel room, not in a cabin. It was VERY dated, maybe never updated since the middle of the 1900's. Do you like Hummel figurines? Oh, a wall-mounted TV and DVD player was added sometime, right at head level walking into the kitchenette. No comfortable chairs, just dinning room style. Really didn't like spending any time in the room except to sleep and other essentials. Terrible coffee service in the room - the least offering to still be called in-room coffee. Beautiful mountain views out the window, but we kept the curtains closed because the motel-style outdoor walkways eliminated any privacy. (The curtains were room darkening only - no option for opaque privacy.) I think I choose this motel because it was cheap and boasted river frontage and being elk friendly. I should have paid more attention to the pictures of the rooms and read more reviews. My wife and I agreed that this was fine for sleeping, but was one of the lowest value rooms we've ever stayed in. With so many options in the Estes Park area, I would not stay here again and wouldn't recommend the motel.

We did a weekend get away to estes. We came on the off season so not too busy everywhere. Rates were also cheaper Family of 4 two little ones. We stayed at the motel side. It was cleaning spacious had a kitchenette so saved money not having to eat out. There was only one grill on site for the motel. You need to rent the cabin for the private hot tub and grill. Thats the only part I didn't see much information on when renting that only the cabins get those amenities. Overall great stay, close to the river for fishing and 6 mins away from Rocky mountain national park
