"Not anything close to what's advertised. Very poor. You get a room and shared amenities. Place can be noisy because of other guests in the house. We had no hot water on the last day."

"My stay at the Angel Hotel was lovely. My ONLY note is that the street is closed off everyday between 11am-6pm so getting dropped off right in front of the hotel with luggage is not possible. Also, there's no elevator, so if you have very heavy luggage like I did, you'll either need to lug it up a few flights of stairs or get help. "The website for this hotel looked way nicer than the reality. The pillows and duvet smelled of stale sweat. The mattress was old, and the furniture of a low quality or damaged. "Helpful person to help with self check in."

"Very close to tube station. We had to be moved from the first room as the sofa bed was unusable. Second room was larger and the sofa bed was ok. Wouldn’t want the girls to have slept on if to more than a night or so.. the shower was’t the best but did the job for one shower. Pub was lovely with a great range of beers and the food was excellent. Staff were really helpful.and friendly."

"Owners are nice, restaurant is very good. Pretty clean rooms but very old, low budget. Safe I guess but pretty sketchy vibe. Very small sink in room. Ok for male students/men on a budget, but not recommended for a single woman. Shuttle to airport is not free as indicated and twice the cost of an Uber."
