"I stayed at the Artiste for four nights. The hotel arranged seamless transfer from the airport. All reception staff (especially Abhirami) and all staff in the hotel were extremely helpful and courteous. I had breakfast and dinner at the hotel's restaurant, booked at the time of booking the room (this made it very good value).  Every meal (in a buffet arrangement) that I had was excellent, the cooks were only to happy to make things to order. All the staff in the restaurant were again extremely helpful and courteous. Of special note was the head chef, Rijo, who took particularly good care of me. The hotel also has good facilities, I used the roof top hotel pool a couple times and was impressed with the size and cleanliness. In fact the entire hotel is well looked after. My room was excellent, enormous with a good view and large shower room. The only downside to the hotel is the location. It takes about a 30 minute taxi ride (400 INR) to get to Fort Kochi and surrounding areas. There isn't much to see around the hotel except that the hotel is part of the Forum Mall which is a large shopping and restaurant complex. You can certainly while away time in all the shops there. "

"It is rare in travel to India that a hotel really delivers but a good, clean and well maintained hotel combined with an exceptionally good service from every member of hotel staff really lived up to my expectations! The hotel room itself was clean, the facilities were warm and modern and the location was great - central. The service from front desk management (in perticular Mr Praveen) was exceptional. I needed a parcel forwarding to north India, unprompted, he totally understood my needs and made all arrangements that made my stay so much relaxing. The restaurant service was also outstanding. Without exception, every member of staff was totally focused on providing a service that guests would love even in a higher rated hotel, and here I cannot but mention the restaurant manager, Mr Vaishakh, exceptional for Dinner and Breakfast for every single day of my stay. My original plan was to stay for 3 nights, however my needs in Kochi and in particular the service from the complete hotel team ment i stayed for some 9 night! Really well done Holiday Inn Kochi! I will definitely be coming back back! "

"Excellent, friendly staff from the cleaners to the friend desk. They beat the Taj and the Ritz Carlton . It is a new property and pretty well done everything. Quality shower bathroom fittings, firm bed, sheets. Excellent tasty breakfast beats the 5star hotels. Every one has a smile on their face when they see you and go above and beyond. Hope they keep up like it is now and we will have an affordable nice hotel across from Lulu mall. "

"The food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating. I had some problems with the room. Lights were complicated and the shower was tiny. The best part of this hotel was the staff in the Indian Restaurant. They were a delight. I’ll be back in Kochi and may not stay there again but I would go and eat there anytime. "
