Das Hotel liegt ca. 10 Minuten von der Innenstadt entfernt an einem kleinen Bach und die Frontseite zur Strasse hin. Gegenueber ist ein Italienisches Restaurant und eine Eisdiele. Dort ist auch ein Parkplatz vorhanden (9-18 Uhr) wo man 2 Stunden mit Parkscheibe parken kann und ggf. bis morgens um 11:00 gefahrlos parken kann wenn die Parkscheibe schon abends auf 9:00 im Auto gelassen wird. Das Hotelgebaeude ist recht neu und alles sieht gepflegt aus. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 2. Stock bezogen was wie gebucht auch einen Balkon hatte. Leider ist dies ein absolutes Nichtraucherhotel und somit auch auf dem Balkon Rauchverbot. Bei Verstoss werden 150 Euro "Reinigungsgebuehr" verlangt was man beim check-in unterschreiben muss. Das Zimmer war ansonsten sehr sauber und die Einrichtung ueberwiegend in weisser Farbe. Das Fruehstuecksbuffet ist im 4. Stock und auch mit einem Rundbalkon zum draussensitzen ausgestattet. Die Buffetauswahl ist im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels bescheiden, jedoch ausreichend. Die angebotenen Broetchen / Semmeln waren sehr klein (ca. 6 cm) und aufgebacken. Fuer den Uebernachtungspreis kann man mehr erwarten.

Es muss nicht immer Freiburg sein...

2 Übernachtungen, um an einem Familienfest in der Nähe teilzunehmen. Wir waren angenehm überrascht und merken uns das Hotel (und Ort) als Alternative zu Freiburg, das ja mit der S-Bahn in wenigen Minuten erreichbar ist.

Great Location

I was staying here for business. The location is great, short walk to local restaurants and the train station. The staff are wonderful, very helpful and are fluent in English. I book this location as it is one of the few locations in the area with air conditioning which is much needed in this hot part of Germany.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hatte eine angenehm ruhige Lage. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbüffet im Panoramaraum war vielfältig und sehr schön arrangiert. Gerne wieder!
