"The building isn’t much to look at, but the room and bathroom has been tastefully renovated and is a great location to be based to make the most of your time at Philip Island. Easy to check in, room was clean and tidy and proximity to things in area was great. "

"Spacious, modern and clean. We stayed in an upstairs unit which had a nice garden and rural outlook. We were met by the host who provided great tips on things to see and where to eat. We only stayed one night (to see the penguins) and it was very comfortable and good value."

"We for two nights, only error was we booked a wheelchair room and we were given a regular room but the staff quickly acknowledged our concern and we're able to change our room to wheelchair friendly. Was great inside the room, value was great as well, we do not use the pool or anything outdoors."

"The property was not was what was depicted in the photos on line. It just had a strange vibe all together. Very isolated to the township of Hastings. Has an onsite restaurant that had very average reviews so we Uber ordered instead. No staff to assist with check in, just had to enter reception and grab key. We weren't sure that we had even paid for the night, turned out we hadn't - we could have just left but we aren't that type of person. Very odd hotel indeed!"

"Had an excellent stay here. Very clean, well furnished.Check in was very easy after instructions emailed before hand. Super comfy bed with modern large flatscreen tv. I like the secure parking underneath also. I would gladly enjoy a cool drink from my balcony at The Waves anytime."

"We had a ground room with no kitchen or balcony. It was a bit noisy with people outside an stomping on the floor above. Bed was comfortable. 👍 Ps it would have been nice to have hot chocolate as an option for a hot drink but there was only tea and instant coffee."

"The room was tiny, bed & 2 seat couch were uncomfortable, no bedside table. Way over priced for what you get. It was clean, very old but clean and housekeeping ladies were lovely. Total disappointment in the room. "

"Was not very easy to locate the reception. Free upgrade to a 3 bedroom apartement, appears recently renovated. Very spacious, clean and conveniently centrally located. Some wear and tear of window furnishings. A pleasant stay overall"
