"Nice period hotel! Front desk man was very pleasant and helpful. He even carried our 2 heavy suitcases upstairs! "

"Everything was great, however the vacuuming was very poor. There was kibble on the carpet, I assume from the previous guest had a dog. there was dental used floss on the rug. It was disappointing to see it was clearly not vacuumed. However everything else was great!!"

"This is an older, historical hotel, but has been well maintained, It gives you the feel of a hotel you might see in a movie. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, but its biggest draw is the ambiance and atmosphere. And the rumor of it being haunted added to the wonderful stay."

"Wonderful hotel in the heart of town. Shopping and dining is all walkable from the location. Parking can be a little tight if it's a busy weekend, but there is more available up the hill. "
