I reached out to you to try to retrieve my money or to at least get a credit so I could visit Portugal and stay at the Villa Marquez a week or so later. You responded that you had tried to reach them but they refused. I do not understand why you are now asking me for my review of the stay. You are already informed that I was unable to visit. "My husband and I are repeat visotors to this hotel. The Hacienda is quaint, spotlessly clean with everything you need in your room. Bathroom gas excellent shower/bath facilities. Luxury towels and ample toiletries, which is a lovely touch! Ample secure parking, no need to worry about your vehicle. Breakfast is excellent. Self serve with plenty of choice. Just love this hotel, it was a great find. "

"Good location in quiet area within short walking distance of beaches. Relaxing and upscale decor with tasteful touches throughout. Comprehensive buffet breakfast in lovely dining room. Our suite was well appointed with private garden patio area; no bedside lamps available and precarious and dangerous small step down from room to patio. Staff interactions were what you’d expect from an hotel at this level - very good."
