All in all, we were very pleased with just about everything & everyone at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott El Paso North. The only issue we had was that it being a Friendly Pet Hotel, which charges you an extra $50, why not have a designated area where your guest Fur Babies can relieve themselves. Nothing but medium size rocks throughout the perimeter of the property. Aside from that we were very pleased with everything else, especially the staff who provided Great Customer Service.

The room smelled horrible. Like a mildew smell, the tv didn’t work, staff tried entering the room when they were told over 6 times not to come in. They proceeded to open the door & my boyfriend had to get loud so they would leave.

Perfect stay....except for the breakfast.

Would have given this hotel an overall 5 stars, BUT.... The "breakfast" was awful. Plastic food, little choice, far from appetizing or healthy. For the room rates, a hot, healthy breakfast offering should be a given. Otherwise, a lovely place.

Bad part of town

When I got there, no one was at the front desk and I had to wait a long time to check in. There was what appeared to be prostitution going on in the lobby. It is in a very bad part of town. Would not stay here again due to safety concerns.
