This hotel was exceptionally clean, modern facilities, cosy fire when you come in in a beautiful lounge area. Very close to all the restaurants and shopping, easy parking. 100% would return.

Lovely breakfast and great location within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Our room was carpeted so it felt dingy and it was noisy so hard to sleep.

Basic hotel with few amenities. Ok for price. Comfortable room with updated bathroom, but thin carpets need updating. Good breakfast. We didnt try dinner. Good location 2 blocks from the main street. Walkable to town, bird sanctuary, and shuttle bus to interesting glacier museum just West of town. Staff was helpful in arranging transportation to Perito Merino glacier (must see) and airport. Tour buses to Torres del Paine and El Chalten stop at the hotel.

Comfortable, convenient, great staff - needs love.

The location is great, the service is excellent, and there is nothing wrong with the hotel other than it needs renovation. It is clean, it is comfortable, but it is dated. Sound insulation is also a problem – you can hear your next-door neighbors more than you should be able to. With some cosmetic work, this could be an outstanding property.

It was not what I expected

I booked this hotel because it has great reviews. The pictures made it look like a cozy place. While it has a great location, I was disappointed with the room. The mattresses were so old that were sinking. The room was tight. I was traveling with my husband and my son so I was expected a nicer and more comfortable room. I would recommend the hotel to do some serious upgrades to the rooms and/or at least invest in new beds. We stayed an extra night in Calafate, and we decided to go to another hotel where for 100$ extra we got more space and comfortable beds with the same good location.

We only stayed one night. Rooms are ok with nice bathrooms. There is a kettle in the room but no mugs or tea / coffee (unusual in Argentina). There is very little in the way of sound proofing. The bathroom noise from other rooms was so loud. Some women were talking outside my room until very late at night! It was so loud it was like they were in the room. Breakfast was ok except for serving orange squash instead of juice

Nice enough property in a good central location with friendly helpful staff let down by some attention to details in an otherwise comfort room. The room safe had no lock, the sink popper plug wouldn't stay closed and when we arrived the carpet to a radius of 50 cm all around the fridge was wet (from the staining on the carpet this appears to have happened before).
