"Great location, it’s a 15 min walk to old central Bruges. The room is a little small, but comfortable, although some nicer pillows would be good. Be aware the walk up is steep and narrow, like so many European rooms. The breakfast part is a little pricey but nice, I think if you book it in advance you can save a few$. The parking is close, but it’s a tight fit in the garage for anything small suv size or bigger. Overall a great stay."

"This is fantastic hotel and the decor is absolutely superb, the bedroom was luxurious and bed huge and comfy, the shower was absolutely fantastic, the staff can not do enough for you. The grounds are secluded garden that has a bathing pool (not heated ) in the centre but the garden is extremely well maintained and they have several patios with very comfy seating and there is a canal at the end of the garden. "The 1669 Bed and Breakfast was such a treat. Our room was in the front overlooking the street. We had a king size bed, claw foot tub and shower. "Such a beautiful property, we loved the modern but cosy design. Exceptionally clean and finished to a high standard. The room we stayed in was spacious and we found it very comfortable with everything we needed. I liked that once checked in, we had a code to access the front door and our room so we could come and go as we pleased, much like in a hotel.
