"Die Lage war der Hauptgrund meiner Buchung. Positiv überrascht wurde ich von der komfortablen Zimmergröße und das tolle Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde auf alle Fälle wieder dort übernachten."

"one of the best hotel room, i have ever stayed. the lobby is nice, the room is huge and even nicer. they refill the water, but towards the end of our stay, they no longer refill the snack. otherwise the room is nice as per picture, bonus it is just 3 mins walk from the train station, so if your journey is late at night, this hotel is just close by to the train station and royal mile."

"The hotel rooms are a little aged, however staff and outer property are amazing."

"Updated but still an old hotel. The lobby is on 4 and if your room is on 7, you have to take the even floor elevator to 1 and switch to the odd number elevator. Not very accessible and tough to negotiate if you have lots of luggage. The room is quite dark and pretty standard amenities. You can't dry your hair in the bathroom as there are no plugs. If you want breakfast, it is better to preorder. I went at 7 am for breakfast and the person there was not ready for walk in customers. She was trying...

Breakfast options were not great for the price you pay. It is primarily pastries, coffee and tea and...

"The hotel is on a flat part of Grassmarket. The Saturday outdoor market is right across the street, as is the hop- hop-off bus and at least 6 pubs and some simple eateries. Victoria street is a 3 min. walk. I loved the location. The hotel is well maintained and you can get lots of towels or tea from the cleaning staff, who are always around. If you want the hotel pub or pool, you’d have to go to the sister Apex hotel. I liked the quietness of this one. Only problem is the corridors and rooms...

"Clean room , helpful staff!"

"Right next door to EICC"

"Everything is good except squeaking sound from the floor when walking around the room in my room."
