Nice quite location, extremely friendly and helpful , breakfast was very well presented, and very clean accommodation. I could not have asked for more. I stay in many hotels and you would find it difficult to find better accommodation anywhere.

The attention to detail was amazing. Room was super clean and inviting. Home made treats every day. Breakfast was amazing. Clair was amazing with her friendliness and knowledge of various attractions.

A wonderful place to stay

This is a beautiful, relaxing property to stay, with a lovely, spacious bedroom. Claire was a wonderful host, including an excellent recommendation for an evening meal locally and providing a gorgeous cooked to order breakfast. The ‘wee dram’ and home made cake placed in the bedroom was a really nice touch. I shall certainly stay here again when next in the area.

Fabulous bed & breakfast

Absolute little gem of a B&B best one we've stayed in this year. Lovely room with delious homemade cup cakes to greet us nothing too much trouble very dog friendly with a wee treat for my dog as well. Breakfast to much too eat and a great choice on menu all freshly prepared highly recomend

Fantastisk Bed and breakfast I hem-miljö Ligger I ett bostadsområde på landet, så pass nära att man snabbt tar sig in till restauranger om man så önskar, men man behöver bil. Väldigt trevligt och en helt fantastisk service.

Our stay at A Room in the Country

The breakfasts were superb, and Claire was a lovely host for whom nothing was too much trouble. She was very helpful regarding getting to local shops and catching the bus into Edinburgh. The room was comfy, if a little small. It afforded a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. The grounds are beautiful, and Angus the dog likes a pat and a tidbit or three. For someone looking to "get away from it all" this is an ideal location, but it might be a bit remote for others.

Perfektes B + B, sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet, gemütlich und ein super Frühstück. Lage gut, sehr ruhig und nur 5min mit dem Auto zum Bus nach Edinburgh.

Un petit bout de paradis

Une maison magnifique, un chambre vraiment grande, un coin salon parfait, et le tout dans une propreté sans nom !!! Claire est une hôtesse très gentille et aux petits soins, de bons conseils sur les restaurants, sur les activités, sur les déplacements... Le petit déjeuner est gargantuesque ! Milles merci, les 2 jours où nous sommes restés ont été un réel plaisir !

Fantastic country location in 5 star luxury b/b

Amazing host, very helpful and always helpful. House and room spotless clean. excellent beds all complimented with one of the best breakfast ever had. This accommodation is second to none and I throughly recommend.

A comfortable accomodation in a wonderful location

Everything is really excellent. The room is well furnished, large, cosy, very clean and indipendent. The host woman is very helpful and willing to do whatever can make you pleased to enjoy your staying. It's not far from Edimburgh in a typical Scottish country landscape.

Single Femail Traveller

I really felt welcomed, safe and extremely well accommodated. The room was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean and well cared for. I thought the fresh coffee, fresh milk and carrot cake was a lovely touch and certainly made me feel welcomed. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at this relaxing, centrally located establishment. Claire is a lovely host and made my stay very enjoyable overall.

Great night's stay 20 minutes from the airport

I arrived late in the evening & left v early the following morning, yet couldn't have enjoyed my stay more. 'A Room in the Country' is only 20 minutes' drive from Edinburgh Airport, an excellent brownie + dram of whisky were waiting for e in my room, & I was really impressed with the packed breakfast that I left with at 5am the following morning. 10/10.

enjoyable

The room and ensuite were very good and our hostess went out of her way to make us feel welcomed with brownies and a nip of whiskey on our arrival. The breakfasts were very nicely presented and generous. I did feel we were a little far away from Edinburgh but it was nice to wake up to birds singing in the morning. There was a park and ride about 10 minutes away.

A really great stay.

A very comfy bed (I suffer from a bad back) a really lovely breakfast and a very welcoming, friendly, helpful owner. A really great stay, if we ever need to stay in the area again we will be returning!

Country Elegance

A beautiful Bed and Breakfast home that is run in an extremely professional manner with a full Scottish breakfast that would put most Hotels to shame. The hostess is amazing and helpful with any advice on sites to see. Well worth the stay and Highly recommend

Individuelle Unterkunft mit persönlicher Note

Das Haus befindet sich in einer Anlage gehobener freistehender Einfamilienhäuser (entwickelt um das Jahr 2000). Wer mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, Ruhe sucht und den persönlichen Kontakt zu den Gastgebern des B & B zu schätzen weiß, ist hier genau richtig.
