"The staff were awesome. Check in and out were easy and efficient. The problems were with the upkeep of the motel. Everything was old, outdated and really used. The bed was uncomfortable and squeeked so loudly. The decor and ac/heating units were ancient. Very little noise buffers, we could hear every sneeze, cough etc...from the neighbours. Honestly the staff were the highlight. Friendly and so helpful."

"I like staying at this property because it is in a convenient location for banks and stores like Shoppers Drug Mart, parking is plentiful, it’s great for dog owners to walk in a safe area, there are lots of food choices both take out and eat in restaurants within walking distance many are open later. There is a public library across the road that allows for out of town guests to use day passes for the computers/copiers. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Air conditioning and heat...

"If you are looking for a decent place to stay during your trip, definitely this will not be the place for you. The staff are equally as horrible as the properties. I would advise any potential guest to have a look at property before booking, never book online because what you see online is not what you get."

"I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden."

"Loved the room, not all rug, loved the hardwood flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. I have stayed at a lot of hotels, and I have to say this one really impressed me, and I will certainly be back. Staff were helpful and pleasant, and so were the guests. You could tell everyone was smiling and in a great mood. Breakfast was great, and there was plenty of seating. It would be nice if there were a bar and a tapas restaurant to visit and relax."

"Room was clean and the kitchenette was well-stocked with plates, glasses etc. However the pullout couch bed was the worst ‘mattress’ I have ever had the displeasure of laying on. The floor was more comfortable. You really need to upgrade those beds, they are diabolical."

"Our stay was truly spectacular for the price. Where else can you get practically a 2 bedroom apartment to stay in Hamilton for so cheap? Beds were quite comfortable, the rooms were very clean, the AC was ice cold (perfect), my only complaint was there was only 1 mirror which was located in the bathroom, only reason that was an issue was due to 3 girls trying to get ready for a night out, but other than that it was great! Would definitely stay again!!"
