"Our destination was Bar Harbor, but hotels any closer were too expensive for our budget. This hotel was perfect for us. Clean, quiet, well maintained, good breakfast."

"The motel is dated. Carpet is dark brown indoor/outdoor. Rooms have a musty odor. Towels are thin, bed spreads have not been laundered recently. Beds were reasonably comfortable, tv worked, there is a coffee maker in the room. And a full refrigerator so bring your own cream. Desk staff were pleasant. Room was quiet."

"Elsa’s was wonderful. I truly loved chatting with Gail in the living room, looking out at the sea, about the local area. Breakfast was delicious with more conversation with the other guests. Beats a motel any day."

"First time for us to stay in this type of place. It was clean and cozy. The house was very old and had lots of creaks. So as other guests arrived, it was a bit noisy. Many stairs to climb unless you notified owner a need for ground floor. Felt he was very accommodating and caring."

"I really enjoyed staying in the solar cabins, under the night time stars. It's much cheaper than motels and far better, weather permitting. A welcome break from the routine for travelers and tourists and visitors. There's an outside kitchen, + a bathroom /toilet shed. Grill up some burgers on that gas!"

"We enjoyed staying here at this cute Inn. It was so clean and cozy. We had everything we needed. We were in room 26 which was cute with its little table with two chairs, comfortable bed, and access to the living room of the in at our front door. There was also a very nice outside porch or you could sit and watch the sunrise in the morning with your coffee or tea. We enjoyed walking down to one of the restaurants and had a nice dinner, and then having homemade ice cream afterwards at the ice...
