It is great to stay at a historic property and we appreciated the historic value. However, that brought with it very outdated bathrooms and a lot of noise from the room upstairs. It was a good place to stay for a night or two

Great, classic, old hotel. Over 100 years old! Maybe is ready for some renovation but I wouldn’t want to change ambiance of the place. Not a lot of dining or shopping options outside the hotel but a nice place to spend a few days around the Glacier area. Nice golf course for the golfers!

I loved the authentic lodge and how it has been maintained. The rooms were quaint and functional but not fancy... just right. The main restaurant had plenty of room and there was never a wait. The food was exceptional, both dinner and breakfast. The gounds were well maintained and the view was absolutely beautiful!

East Glacier Lodge was very historic and comfortable. Lobby was huge with many areas to gather and relax. Staff was amazing and waiting to help in any way. Food was very good and huckleberry margaritas were the best. Close to National park access.

This 100+ year old hotel has a great history. But with a 100 year old building comes some setbacks. No TV, AC or refrigerator in the room. Tiny shower with no shelving or hooks in the bathroom. The lobby is the reason to visit!! So fun and beautiful. The rooms are extremely basic and a little disappointing for the price.

Take a step back in time to an old time resort vacation. Activities for the children on the lawn. The beautiful garden. On site dining and gift shop. Seating areas to relax. The building itself is amazing and the staff was very helpful. I really enjoyed this hotel.

Loved this old gem!

We loved Glacier Park Lodge. It’s over 100 years old, so if you like fancy and modern, this isn’t for you. However, everything was clean, quiet, and beautiful. The staff is more than helpful with travel stuff. Highly recommend.

Historic property and common areas interesting; No A/C in common areas or rooms; no elevator. Fans provided; Rooms are true to a lodge from early 1930 and convenient to Glacier Park. But must use stairs to levels 2 and 3.; No other food options nearby and rooms did not have refrigerators or microwaves for your own food. Staff very nice and helpful; Bellhops carry your luggage up to levels 2 and 3. but you must be able to maneuver steps.

Rustic but beautiful old hotel

Beautiful old historic hotel. No tv, air, etc but that is ok. Beautiful scenery and location. Lobby is awesome. Restaurant was disappointing for the price. Would stay again just for the experience. Rustic rooms.

Great fun hotel

Very cute hotel. Its a little loud at night as the floors are hard wood. I loved the traditional hotel but it did feel clean and somewhat updates. Minimal counter space in the bathroom though made it a little tough to get ready. Good entertainment in the great hall and just a very relaxing safe atmosphere. Felt comfortable letting the kids wonder around and they had a fun scavenger hunt for the kids. Puzzles around and live music in the evening. Unique experience; I would definitely go back again.

If you are into disconnecting from everything this would be the place, limited food choices other than the hotel and a couple places down the road like Brownies. The food is good at the hotel, but priced very high. The rooms are nothing to write home about , this place was build in 1913 so cool ambiance however the rooms look worn out, carpet frayed, dirty, small shower, sinks that look like 100 + yrs old. For the price, I would give the room a 2 star rating
