"Our stay was fine. Building is old and needs renovation. But small staff did a good job. Room, halls, and lobby was clean. All in all, a good deal for the price."

"The room is not cleaned well, there was contact lens of last customer left in the night stand and I reached out to the customer service. They offered to change a room but I refused due to kids live in the next door. I repeatedly ask them to clean the room again and change all the sheets as this finding was very uncomfortable. All the answer I got was they did do the house cleaning and no apologies. In the second day, I found another lens next to the phone, which means they only removed the one I noticed and not even clean the night stands throughly! The hotel is located in a beautiful campus and the building is great. But this experience was very disappointing regarding a four star hotel. Watch out when you check in."

"Great location to Duke University. Staff was always polite and would great you each time you entered the building. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast is a paid buffet. Not worth the price for the food selection. On a bright note, the lady who ran the breakfast was friendly and the dining area was clean. "

"We go to Durham to visit our daughter at school there, and we just sleep and shower there. This hotel is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Staff is nice. Covered parking for $0-$5/night depending on which platform you reserve with. "

"The room was definitely showing its age. The wood furniture & wallpaper had a lot of bangs and chips. The room decor was dark. It was clean though and I was comfortable. I had an issue with the fridge and maintenance replaced it right away. All the employees were very kind and friendly. The lobby is cozy with a huge stone fireplace. "
