"A lovely setting around the old stone cottage and a well functioning property with spacious rooms and lush grounds. Great bonus that dogs are welcomed and have a nice garden to sniff. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was is the only thing that did not quite live up to the hype; nothing wrong with it, but did not quite meet the expectation set by other reviews."

"The room was exceptionally clean, and the massive four-poster bed was comfortable. The room was remodeled at some point while maintaining certain vintage features, such as the original tile in the shower. All in all, this is a nice mid-century motel with a lot of the original charm but upgraded to modern standards. We would definitely stay here again."
