Excellent place to stay, very clean, place in like new condition very close to kings canyon and sequoia, very affordable and staff very friendly. I will definitely stay there again.😊👍
The cafe at Genas Sierra Inn was great; food and choices spectacular, delicious. The staff was very kind, friendly, and professional. The location to the Sequoia National Park is very convenient.
The room was spotless. We had lots of clean fresh towels. Everyone was so friendly. The food at the restaurant was great!!! So was the service.
The internet connections are poor to nonexistent. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning.
Great home base for seeing Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park! Perfect location, friendly staff, we stayed two nights in the super cute motel and ate at the restaurant - the food and local beers were delicious! I stayed here a few years ago and loved it so much I was sure to book a stay at Gena’s again for this trip. We will be back!
This is a simple, no-nonsense old-style roadside motel, complete with inexpensive, but tasty, dining. A real step back into the past. Simple and fun. Great location just outside Kings Canyon National Park.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It was very quiet just what we needed to unwind after a nice hike.
I love that this room didn’t smell like cigarettes & it was clean. I did dislike that we had to keep the light on in order to watch TV. All streaming apps were working fine, the internet did stop working around 11pm on the Roku. We restarted the Roku and the internet came back. Lastly, I didn’t see this on their page but they charge $10.50 to use the laundromat and their kitchen per day. Just a little fyi. Can’t wait to come back and try their family rooms!!!
Close to the Kings Canyon park entrance, which is what we were looking for! Rooms are small but decent. Pretty good amenities given how far away it is from the city.
Great location. Accommodation was compact and Biju just exactly what we booked. The communal facilities worked well. Staff were very accommodating and made us feel welcome. We stayed in one of the small cabins, given the choice again I’d probably book into one of the motel rooms but more just for the experience than anything else as the motel accommodation is steep and rich history. absolutely great offering and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

It is a quaint place. Met our needs with no frills. The restaurant supper was awesome. 3 minutes down the road is a great coffee shop with quiche and bagels for breakfast.
Loved I could check in and out on my own. It’s the closest place you can stay at that is outside the park. Super affordable. Charming. I would stay here again.
