"It was even better than we imagined! This was our first time staying in a bunkie but it was so comfortable and has everything you need. We loved the private meadow/forest trail and one of the highlights was kayaking the Beaver River. The owners are so kind and not far if there's anything you need refilled. Also, the duck eggs are a must try!! The location is great too! It's on a back road but closest to venture out and explore the beautiful Beaver Valley. We'll definitely be returning :)"

"We had a great stay at Rocklyn. Lesley and Michael are wonderful hosts and very welcoming. The place was really clean and had home-like vibe. It was sweet of Lesley to give us the tour of the place and make us feel comfortable around the place."

"The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with an assortment of coffees and teas. The breakfast was good and my wife really enjoyed the home-made yogurt. I enjoyed an omelette on a toasted bagel and a fresh baked croissant. It is a great place to stay if you are visiting Markdale or visiting the Down Home Farm restaurant for a farm-to-table experience. "
