Everything was awesome.. wonderful spa facilities.. but when we were there.. hot tub has broken down last year.. excellence location many dinningboptions amd near the beach
A lovely hotel with great staff, food, pool and facilities in a nice location.
There are building works going on around the area and grounds but it didnt bother us.
Nice hotel with excellent gym and spa, really good pool, nice bar and great buffet breakfast. Good location for exploring old town as well as lively local bar scene. Rooms OK but poor air con

Liked: Amenities
Location is perfect for quieter experience but close enough uber ride to the hustle and bustle of old town. Promenade out the door is a lovely walk with restaurants along the way. Grocery store near by. Only drawback was very small bathroom and shower for a deluxe room. Towels thin and small. Thought the room would be larger too. Nice balcony and ocean view. Good bed

Disliked: Staff & service
Not 4 star.
Not 4 star. Bare minimum in terms of service and facilities. Politest member of staff was the spa attendant as you walk to the pool trying to sell treatments. Staff did the basic, no smiles, nothing to make you feel like you were on holiday. Bare minimum delivered.
Hotel was very nice overall. We stayed in the villa building and were very impressed with the views.
We have two, what we consider significant, complaints. The room was not cleaned properly upon arrival. This was resolved fairly quickly with a call to the front desk. The second complaint was that there was a water leak from the shower which left >1cm of water in the bathroom after each use. It used all of our towels and robes to soak up the water and we weren’t given fresh ones until we asked. We informed the front desk but nothing was done about it over our three night stay.
Breakfast buffet was well worth the extra charge. Old town was walkable. Lapad beach area and promenade were very nice.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
All in all it was good. Out of season so no outdoor pools - fair enough but the spa was shut most of the afternoon and there was no hot tub working.
We were also disappointed and hot that apparently it was too early to turn the air con on so we slept with our balcony door open as the first night our room reached 28° and we thought the room air con must be broken. OK until our neighbour started smoking cigs and other stuff and we had to close it! The staff just said they would ask the manager and wrote our room number on a scrap bit of paper so guessed they didn't get any messages.
Location was very good for stony sunset beach, restaurants and bus services to old town
Unfortunately a bad experience.
Family with 2 adult children, we stayed 5 days there and requested twin beds on arrival.
No twin beds available, thus we received instead two family rooms on 4th floor with two additional single beds each.
The evening my children found lot of ants busy with a dead bug. Mind on the 4th floor. The room was then cleaned, chips and dirt were found under that bed.
My son having issues with insects it was promised to us a change of their room to a double on the next day.
Next day the manager said he decided that we don't deserve a second room change.
Anyway the ants invasion continued and we discovered more chips and dirt under the second single bed. There were of course some other issues, like brown traces on bathroom door, yellow on the WC board and water was not stopping on WC, also our door was not closing properly and remained open for a long day of boat excursion, etc.
Most of the employees are nice, but even no one "Sorry" we've heard from that manager on our departure. Haven't seen this in the numerous touristic places visited around the world.
Nicely situated and with a good Spa, this hotel proposes rather cheap breakfast and does not really correspond to a 4 star hotel, well excepting it's bars' price lists.
Very nice place to stay, please be aware currently there are renovations happening to the grounds and surrounding buildings however it’s not too much of an inconvenience.
