I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it did not live up to its 5-star rating. Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet mainly features South Asian dishes, which is absolutely fine—but this should be clearly mentioned on their website so guests know what to expect. The buffet staff themselves were very kind and welcoming, but the lack of transparency beforehand was disappointing. Front Desk Service: The front desk service was the most frustrating part of the stay. Almost every request was met with “come tomorrow” or “we’re working on it,” and then the next staff member would claim there was no note or record of the issue. When I called about our broken kettle, they said they would send a replacement, but no one ever showed up. The following day I was told they already knew it wasn’t workingu and simply had no replacement available. It felt like no one was actually attending to guests’ needs. The only person who truly helped was Padma. Near the end of our stay, we mentioned the kettle situation to her directly and she immediately took care of it. Her service was the one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience. Housekeeping: Housekeeping staff were polite and did a good job throughout our stay, which I appreciated. Noise Levels:
Before booking,I saw a review mentioning loud music, and I wasn’t sure how accurate that was. After staying on one of the higher floors and still hearing music clearly at night, I can’t imagine how loud it must be on lower floor
