Everything about the sleepover was good and well organized. I really enjoyed it. The only small thing I wished for was having a hot drink available, like tea.
Special thanks to Heazel for the support.
Yes, It sure is ok there for a few hours to sleep and be able to lie down. The only negative about it all is that the surface to lie on is rather hard….further …perfect for me.
Not needing to go off the airport is a great plus as well.
So, Thank you Sleep 'n Fly….I'll be back
What a great idea. We were exhausted when we arrived at the Dubai airport. We had a 12 hour layover and this sleep and fly cabin was just what we needed. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was right in the middle of a very busy airport. It was clean, quiet, and very easy to find. The restrooms were very close by and clean. Good experience. We felt rested when we boarded our 15 hour flight. I highly recommend.
It was very compact for 2 people but quiet and comfortable once lying down. The directions for finding it could have been a lot better eg follow the signs for "Connections" until you go through security and then find gate C13. It was a very long walk. Also, there are no bathrooms in the facility. You have to go out to the public toilets. Overall good but quite expensive for what it is.
(1) The room is very small as expected, but if you really need to lie down and have a few hours of sleep before the next fly, it is absolutely good choice. If you feel cold, you can always ask the staff for a blanket.
(2) It was very quiet during my stay. Bear in mind to move quietly, close the door lightly and speak softly as not to disturb others. Then everyone will have a good sleep.
(3) The staff at the reception was very helpful and cheerful while the staff at the sleeping area was a bit cool and did not talk much. I suppose it was because he tried to keep as quiet as possible; perhaps some smile and kind gestures may help avoid unnecessary misunderstanding.
(4) The reception is right beside C14. As the airport is really very large, it will take rather a long walk to get to the reception. The sleeping area is hidden behind the duty free shops downstairs. After checking in at the reception, turn around to C16, turn left and go downstairs to the duty free shop area. Turn left to the cosmetics shop, but do not go into the shop. Instead, turn left again, then turn right and you will see a small logo "sleep 'n fly". Inside is the sleeping area while there are public toilets and a drinking water dispenser on the other side.
I recently stayed at the Sleep 'n Fly Sleep Lounge, to catch a cat nap during an overnight layover. The space I ended up with was about the size of an Emirates Air business-class seat. It was comfortable enough to rest for about five hours before my next flight. As the booking stated, they did not provide a bathroom; thus, washing up and brushing my teeth in the public bathroom wearing my pajamas was a bit awkward. Given how busy the DXB airport is, even in the middle of the night, it helped to have a quiet place to rest, away from the hustle and bustle of the terminal. Both attendants, Alex and Robyn were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I was satisfied with my choice, for which I paid about $120. However, for a longer layover, you may want to consider some more comfortable choices, either at the airport or nearby.

Not as convenient as it could be
The place is a little hard to find, and to make matters more confusing, the reception is on another level, away from the rooms/cabins.
The rooms are VERY small, which is to be expected, but so are the comforters, which is weird and made our stay less comfortable.
Biggest minus by far though is that there are no toilets in the hotel, so you have to go all the way out into the airport and use the public restrooms. It’s a little uncomfortable brushing your teeth next to other passengers, but especially inconvenient if you have to use the toilet during the night (and as I am pregnant, I do).
We were also a little disappointed there did not seem to be any shower options available.
Other than that, the room/cabin was fine — it has what you need, but no more than that. And it’s very clean.
At the time of booking, specific location wasn’t mentioned, never used the facility an didn’t have signage of the location. My suggestion to travelers don’t book in advance of your travel, there are other options available one can stay in transit at Dubai international airport.
