The hotel room was a very old style room, it needs a great deal of renovation. The wardrobe did not close, there was an unpleasant smell in the room because of the old filters of air conditioner. The plugs to charge the mobile phone was with a non european adapter and when I called the indicated number “0” for assistance, i was told I need to go to the supermarket to buy one. Imbarassing. The kitchen was not well equipped at all, we were in 3 and had only one knife and one spoon and a couple of plates and two glasses. All placed on an old rusty cupboard. The furtinure has a lot of dirty spots as well all the curtains. Being a family of 3 we were given a suite with only one bed. However I booked and payed for 3 adults. Calling “0” for assistance was not helpful at all, I was told to pay for an extra bed. My small advice, never call “0”, go straight away to the reception on ground floor for any solution. The reception sent us someone to place and extra bed and gave us one adapter (the other we bought, being in 3 we have more than one gadget to charge). General impression was not great however. Though, I’m thankfull to a Diana who helped us at the reception desk to solve our issues. At the check out the reception sent a person to check if all was ok with the room. In 15 years of travelling experience, I faced this for the first time. A bit humiliating, sincerely, it was difficult to worsen the conditions of the room. The position of the hotel is 20 steps from the metro, a plus.
