"Absolute gem of a B&B with wonderfully welcoming hosts, a great room with comfortable bed and fully private bathroom with shower. "We enjoyed a really lovely short break in Sligo recently with the excellent Castle Dargan as a base. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. "Hotel is on a beautiful beach. Hotel decor is victorian not beachy. Room was comfortable and clean. Entrance and exit doors took a bit of getting used to and beach access is down a bit. Would have been nice if the bar served more than just pizza, as the hotel restaurant required a reservation and was pricey. There was a very good food truck on the beach. Breakfast was really good! No air conditioning so you need to close the blinds if it's a sunny day! "
