"we were to have a non smoking room. our room reeked of smoke. "

"It's about what youd expect for $50 a night. They require a $100 deposit for your stay. They tried to take it twice from me at check in and double chagred me for my room. Spent 15 minutes going back and forth with the owner because of this. They tried blaming expedia. Cleanliness was subpar- blankets had stains, tub had hair in it. Floors had food crumbs. Little patio was nice. Water barely gets warm in the shower. Housekeeping staff was still cleaning rooms at 3 pm and had dirty linens thrown in the hallway floors. Hotel is non smoking but smelt heavily of cigarettes and weed. Staff cant control what guests do, but the hallways were very loud until about midnight with people slamming doors and yelling. Beds were extremely firm. Was supposed to stay 2 nights but dipped out early. Its outside of cookeville so traffic isnt bad, but you will hear sirens all night on I40. Its a place to crash and you get what you pay for. "

"Very clean, everything works as it should, excellent shower, mattress, elevator. Great coffee from breakfast center, efficient and helpful staff. Art and decor very attractive. The outside form of the building is an older design, but deceptive, as the inside of buildings and rooms are modern, very sharp and attractive."

"Room felt neglected. Water drip in the shower. Cracks in the toilet. Caulking around the tub os in poor shape. Some cracks in tile on bathroom floor."

"The hotel itself was good - everyone was very polite, it was easy to access, room easy to access and was as expected. Our only complaint was that our room faced the parking lot, which meant there was a lot of light coming in through the window. Normally, the curtains can block out the light, but the curtains were sheer, so all the light came in the room. The heavier curtains were on the outside of the curtains for aesthetics, but could not be moved, so there was light coming in all night. Needless to say, we did not sleep well. I don't know if all the rooms facing the parking lot had this same concern, but this needs to be addressed for other customers. "
